Tem-Cats ride five run fourth to advance past McKinnney Boyd - WACO - The Temple softball team scored five runs in the fourth inning to rally past McKinnney Boys 7-2 and advance to the regional semifinals of the UIL State Playoffs.Gamboa's big day propels Temple past Lake Highlands and into regional quarterfinals - RICHARDSON - Temple's Brandon Gamboa hit a pair of 3-run home runs and pitched a complete game 4-hitter as Temple defeated Lake Highlands 10-1 and advance to the regional quarterfinals for the first time since 1997.
McNeil, Culp pace Temple past Lake Highlands 4-2 -Ryan McNeil's three hitter and Seth Culp's tie-breaking 2-run triple in the fifth lifted the Wildcats to a 4-2 win in Game One of the Best of 3 series Friday night at Hallford Field.
9-run fourth advances Temple past Mesquite 13-2 - The Temple baseball team scored four in the third and nine in the fourth to defeat Mesquite 13-2 and win their bi-district series 2-0 and advance in the state playoffs.

Wildcats take Game 1 at Mesquite 3-2 - MESQUITE - The Temple baseball team jumped out to a 3-0 lead and held on to win Game 1 and a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three bi-ditrict playoff series.
10-run second inning propels Temple past Longview in playoff action - CORSICANA - The Temple softball team used a decisive second inning outburst to defeat Longview 14-0 in bi-district playoff action on Friday night and advance to the area round of the playoffs.
Bryan tops Temple 4-1 in regular season finale - BRYAN - Bryan defeated Temple 4-1 on Friday night in the regular season finale for both teams.
No-No's prime Tem-Cats for postseason - TEMPLE - Temple Softball Pitcher Lexi Smith said she doesn't remember ever throwing a no-hitter before this season. The last three games, she's three-for-three.
